Nope.. http://www.directv.com they have listings avail online, but wish I had Speedvision, it would be the only sports channel I would watch. Suspose I could ask, I kinda email begged them to add UPN to my local channel lineup for Chicago area, and got a canned email back, but a couple months later *poof* new channel showed up on the menu... Tada.. UPN. Im sure it was *my* email that caused it... ;-) I will be dropping my service when I move in 5 months anyway, and going back to cable since I can get a cable modem at my house up north, but not here. Cable signal sucketh here anyhow. Duden A15 Pilot

Why Spank me silly..... I must be a quart low on coffee this morning, I do see it listed, under "Total Choice" I however dont have that level of service, I must be grandfathered on a older service, I have something called Select Choice I think, and local service added ontop of that. I get less channels, but pay less also. I certianly will not pay for a sports package, considering I have all them blocked off my menu in the receiver. Alrigthty then I am going back to looking at X10 ads and finish my pot of coffee. Sorry for the previous bum info.. Unless the Speedvison was a recent addition, I really dont remember it being an option, since motorsports (NOT nascrap) are the sports I will watch. (Whole new thread that I aint pulling when it comes to Nascrap) Duden A15 Pilot

Was mentioned in the Jan 14th Charlie Chat that Speedvision was moving into Top-100, and IFC was finally being split out of Romance which was becoming WE. Almost a year ago I shelled out to upgrade my Model 2000 for the PVR-501 with Dish500. Got one of the first as I had preordered before the release. When it arrived I upgraded to Top-150. Only missed one or two of the Formula One races, but that was the whole point, to get Formula One. Top-150 was ~$10 more, Speedvision-only was $5 more, so I bit the bullet and went to Top-150 and have gotten more good out of the added commercial free movie channels than I expected. -- David Kelly N4HHE, dkelly@... ===================================================================== The human mind ordinarily operates at only ten percent of its capacity -- the rest is overhead for the operating system.
