service manuals & parts resources?

Post by ryanwow2000@yahoo.com » Sun Sep 23, 2001 10:36 pm

I'm a first-time KLR owner; just bought it. Now I'm trying to figure out how I can get a hold of a service manual for my A-12 (without shelling out big bucks for a new one from Kawasaki) as well as a good source for used parts. Any input? Thanks! Ryan Bock Northern California

Been using those on my mountain bike for years, so it seemed totally natural to continue using it when I got a motorcycle. One caveat, if you put anything but water in it, be sure to clean the bladder and the hose thoroughly. I've seen people drinking out of green camelbak bladders, ewww. I'm too lazy to clean it all the time, so I only carry water in mine and use water bottles to carry sports drinks. Water bottles are easier to clean... -Trevor
