On the subject of kidney belts, I've used one for years. Whether riding in dirt or on the highway, they seem to hold my "guts" together and provide additional support when in the seated position for extended periods of time. I use one with elastic banding and velcro closures, and it allows me to stand straight and walk after a long day in the saddle. Jim
