I like the Kawi tail bag better than the tank bag. I put a bead of silicone sealant around the map pocket and I have not experienced any tearing on the tank bag but it does not appear to be made as well as the tail bag. The tail bag attaches securely and I have used it to carry lots of heavy books to and from school without a problem. I have not used either of the bags for any journey longer than a couple of days and a couple of hundred miles so I don't know how they would would hold up on something like a trip to Alaska or the Baja. I am kind of disappointed with my Aerostitch courier bag because it shifts around too much. I guess I will need to buy the optional strap that secures around the waist. Has anyone else had a similar problem with the courier bag? Tom Erickson A14
