klr tank bag wanted

Greeting Everyone, I took my cylinder top cover off to find my cam chain loose. I also found that the chain had been rubbing on the top cover. Upon inspection of the tensioner I found my spring was all messed up. It looks like someone tride to make it longer. Due to the damage I believe it wasn't doing it's job. Can I buy a replacement spring for the tensioner? On the buy Kawasaki page it looks like I have to buy the unit. I don't want to have to spend the extra $ if I can just get a new, Better spring.
