Hey Brad, I've been using the RF700 for the last 3 years and had to scrape out some material at the front of the forehead to relieve a hard spot that caused pain after about 3 or 4 hours riding time. After that, 'twas ok. I'm fixing to buy a new lid and think I'll just have to go try out the Noland 100 this time. -- Best Regards & Happy Trails Andy Chesley @ 57 and ticking Y2KLR650 @ 3.6K sMiles 97 R11RA (Amiga) @ 12.3K Miles So Many Roads, So Little Time http://members.deltech.net/aches/

I like my HJC LT12. 202 bucks from the Helment Shop online to my door. Really light. As good a protection as you're gonna get. Need a dime or penny to change out the shield though. But not a problem. They even send you a little tool to use that you can put on your key chain. The fit is fantastic. bar any helmet I've tried on. Have about 4000 miles on it so far between the BMW and KLR. Other hats were a Shoei 700 I wore for about 50, 000 miles. Had to scrape a bit of foam in the top forhead area for it to be comfortable me. Still was never as comfy as the HJC. Before that Aria, was okay hat, fit good, too expensive when it fell off the bike and had a good chip in it. But wore it anyway for about 20000 miles before it was stolen. Didn't like it enuff to get another but it fit me much better than the Shoei I replace it with. To me , most of the high price hats don't afford that much more protection for that amount of money. Just helps pay for advertizing and sponsership of race teams and such. I prefer the full coverage over the dual sports for better wind and dust protection. But is warmer. Andy Louisiana
