Hi Folks,   I'm considering buying a KLR in the spring and have what maybe considered a dumb question but here it goes...   My wife occasionally likes to ride two-up with me (though we don't go any long hauls, two hours at a stretch max), how is the KLR 650 with a passenger?  I'm currently riding a '78 honda 550, so I can't imagine it would be much worse than that...   Any info that can be shared would be really appreciated.   Thanks,   Greg Augustine

Doable for a short haul but not great....   Kurt

We're both pretty tall too so we take up all the space the KLR has to offer (I'm 6'1" and she's 5'11"). We've done 5 hours on the bike in a day and, while it does require frequent stretch stops, it's perfectly fine. Bike can handle it, can the rider? dat brooklyn bum _______________________________________________________ Tired of slow Internet? Hey! Is this post allowed?! Has it met the requisite criteria for KLR content, clarity and lack of humor?!!! Geez, I thought we had this all straightened out! Ed-I don't need no steenkin' humor-Boyd --- In DSN_klr650@egroups.com, "Robert Morgan" wrote:
