big bend n.p. on klr

Post by Jim Nesrsta » Mon Nov 13, 2000 10:38 pm

I wish I was going with you but all I have had time to do is bum around the hill country on my A15. The last time I went to Big Bend was a long time ago in a cage and what I remember is a whole lot of straight flat road between here and there. As soon as my job slacks off a little I plan on taking some trips, maybe Mexico, but for now the hill country will have to do. I have had a lot of fun just strapping my fly rod to the back of the KLR and riding up to one of the streams around San Antonio. I have been trying to figure out how to trailer a canoe behind the KLR. Bound to be a way to do that. Good luck on your trip. Keep us informed. Jim Porter Watson wrote:

I heartily agree of a huge difference. One joined the real military and served in a war zone. The other hid out in the active reserves. Both had the family influence to avoid the confict. One used it. Personally I like the democracy of counting the votes cast that our Constitution and state law provides. The TRUTH is OK, just takes a bit longer. Up to now it is only the predidictions of the media that is in question, not the results which are forthcoming. Dan of Graham
