still no suggestions on engine paint

Hello all, 1. Anyone know what the method is called that the factory uses to paint the engine. I'd like to have it redone like factory, but until I know what process they use, I can't look for the right--what I expect will be--industrial painter/metal finisher. LESSON FOR ME, STORY FOR YOU: Believe me, I've found that if I put the work in, a guy can find a multitude of services and materials from worlds outside of the motorcycle or even automotive business. You gotta do the research though, and transfer the knowledge from one world to the other. Like I found this industrial metal finisher. A factory production line type metal finishing place. They wouldn't normally have anything to do with a consumer. They do big contract work. Thing is, that's the type of place that's gonna have that kind of serious equipment. Anyway, just because there was a kind hearted guy there, he was willing to powder coat my cylinder head for me. However....Before I brought the piece in for the job, I found out doing research that cylinder heads shouldn't be powder coated because they risk getting warped by the high curing temperatures of the process (confirmed by lister Dan Paulison--thanks Dan!). But this guy, as nice as he was, didn't know anything about motorcycles (nor was he suppossed to). If I had brought the head to him, and it got ruinded, it would have been MY fault. It's my responsibility to know these things when I go outside the motorcycle/automotive worlds. Just thought I'd share some nearly hard earned wisdom. BACK TO THE PAINT QUESTION: 2. So...does anyone know whatever method: paying for it (it's been a while--ha!) or doing it myself (okay skip that one), I could use to effectively paint the engine? How about the exhaust?
