Hey Daryl, I think it's a little more than 1800 k's. I seem to remember that it was more like 2300. Took us 2.5 days from Abbotsford. Cheers, Arne

So there I was on my couch Sunday, going 140 mph around Sugo, maybe you saw me in front of Chili, right behind Haga? On the Green couch ? Anyway, I decided I am King of the Superbikes on my KLR650 on the way to work today, left hand turn, off camber biiig wiiiide intersection. Light goes green, first gear, shift to second, lean bike over, roll on the throttle ( OK, maybe "drop the hammer" is more accurate ) around comes the ass end and wheeeeee! Sliding down the street in front of a nice big audience, there I go. Total damage = 1 pair of Levi's, 1 skinned knee, artistically ground down sidestand base, twisted IMS shift lever , ground footpeg. I feel like a dipshit. I bet the guy behind me in the F350 is still laughing. On the other hand, I bought a Broshtex cool Kevlar jacket last summer, and let me tell you, after a 20 - 30 foot skid, I have zero road rash on my elbow, and the jacket looks like new. 10 out of 10 for abrasion protection for the jacket. I have to laugh, though, coz just when you think you're special, you get a little wake up call like that. Them 270's I complained about earlier.. well they are a bit slippery on the pavement, you can leave cool looking black marks in the corners on the street, or you can look like a total idiot in front of your neighbors. CA Stu <-- Thank You Lord, I am humbled once more.
