Hello everyone
I look forward to reading the mail that arrives off this list.
While I do not presently ride, I have for many years, both
off and on road but set it a side to raise to kids. I had to,
not enough dollars to go around. Two of four kids are gone
and the other two are getting to the age of being most
independent.
I have decided that a dual sport bike would serve me best.

Hey Mike,
I just got back into riding after a 7 year hiatus, I bought a '96 KLX 650 R, and I am enjoying myself tremendously. While I don't own a KLR, its a great bike by all accounts. I have a KLX 650 and I'm allowed to hang around this list. :^)
I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed riding since I got back into it a few weeks ago. If you enjoyed it before, by all means, get back into it. My wife thinks I'm obsessed, but she never knew me while I was riding. My behavior seems quite normal to me. Ride the bike, talk about riding the bike, think about riding the bike. Work on the bike, talk about working on the bike, think about working on the bike. Talk about getting more bikes, think about getting more bikes, get more bikes! Where's the obsession I ask?
