Thanks! I have a little website a friend and I put together if you're interested it's www.klradventure.com we both got our bikes in January. That site has several pictures of rides we've taken (lots of firetowers and antennas as we're both HAM operators.) feel free to look around there's also a little forum section. Not much there yet be we hope to develop in the future. ________________________________ From: fmhilton To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com; Garrett Sent: Sunday, December 7, 2008 7:37:12 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Hello Welcome aboard Garrett. I'm fairly new to the list, I have an 08 also. This is a great list, good support. This is a good site for information that I've enjoyed: http://www.klr650. marknet.us/ You can take a look at my 08: http://picasaweb. google.com/ fmh3469/08KLR650 E8F# Mike H. Louisiana

Russell, That is patently untrue. NKLR is merely hibernating, until someone repetitively mentions, politics Christmas guns and some others I suppose... without 'NKLR'ing the subject line. Now, who the heck has been singing, Let it snow Let it snow Let it snow. You can stop now.... Dooden, is this your fault? All this snow? Have you been naughty again? revmaaatin. yeah, its snowing outside my window. and is suppose to continue for some time.

I believe Jeff is right; other report as well that it is not a direct swap. The attatchment point is completly different I am not certain (I havn't done it), but I believe if you swap out the swing arm assembly, brake caliper, and maybe the wheel/brake disc, it is possible. Perhaps someone else can comment on the compatibility of the gen 1 wheel on teh gen 2 swing arm. I thought someone here on the list did this mod for the double-pot caliper. Seems like I read this mod accomplished and reported elsewhere as well. Seemed like a lot of trouble for so little. shrug. revmaaatin.
