warning - tire thread - trials tires

The MT43 as I just found out is a Bias Ply tire and has a DOT number. With added air pressure it may be a better highway tire than we think. It is still a squared off tread and I would think that for aggressive hard surface riding would handle odd. The only sizes for this tire is a 4.00x18 and a 2.75x21, so this tire wouldn't work on a stock KLR anyway. They're designed for the dirt, on bikes that weigh half what the KLR does. I assume you'd run into the same problem as knobbies, where the tread comes off after sustained highway speeds. It's the San Francisco only model. Real KLRistas are in SoCal.

I almost stated San Franfrisco, But didn't want Imply and or, to offend anyone. 2yrs ago a ride friend here in W.Mi. rode up on a Vicotory Touring bike, My first thought was "Retro, Futuristic, Flaming Gay". (No offence to Gays, it just looks Flamboyent And from a "Jetsons" cartoon, Hence Futuristic, with 57chevy speedo/ tach Dash, that GLOWS.)
