helping out. nklr
[b]Very interesting stories. Here is one I had. While in Mexico I went scuba diving in a cove off the gulf. Afraid to leave my wallet at the dive shop I put it in the back pocket of my shorts. About half way through the dive I felt to see if it was there. It was not. I immediately began back tacking in search of it. No luck. Canceled the credit card and went back to the ship with my wife to report the loss. Strangely, another man was at the purser's office reporting a loss at the same place and the circumstances were exactly the same. We got to talking and we had so many things in common it was scary. At any rate, made it back to Arkansas and guess what was in the mail? A man from California (yah, believe that or not) found my bill fold and sent it to me. It had my driver's license, my credit card, ship card and all the money still in it.
But, more recently, like a month ago. I jumped on my KLR to go to the post office--only a half mile from work. It was warm so I threw my First Gear coat on the back and haphazardly hooked the bungy across it. Cam out of the post office and it was gone. I quickly retraced my path but to no avail. Perhaps if I had put some ID on the coat somewhere it would have made its way home. I'll miss that old coat. However, it has a nice replacement already.
