miscelaneous

Post by Jacobus De Bruyn » Thu Mar 27, 2008 11:01 pm

The feedback on the tire issue was great, now I run them with the locknut up to the cap, but...can there be an issue with water or dirt entering the rim? I am sorry I did not heed earlier info about this, but I probably was focused back then on doohickeys and vulva adjustments. Never had an issue with valves ripping out before, it was most likely voodoo. The MT21 I have is 120/90, I don t think they come in any other size?? I had one bike with a rim lock, a 1980 XR200 Honda screamer, nice bike though, but when I bought it already way too old and screwed up. But it was a great schoolroom to keep it running. To the lurker with the cam timing problem, yes, been there, follow Jeff s advice, and you ll be ok. Exactly the same happened to me. Everything you do for the first time you liable to make some mistake. We can be great guys even if we screw up at times. The one who thinks himself perfect, is a perfect son of a b..... female dog. Street wisdom. All good vibes, Jacostarica. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
