Yes. Unfortunately I can't remember if the racer said to slide them 1.5 cm or 15 cm so I started with the conservative value.

Are you sure he didn't say 1.5 cm or 15 mm? .. which is the same length. I usually do about the same, 10-15 mm on my dirt and dual sport bikes as I weigh 260# and hard to get the sag right otherwise. Dan P
