Try striking it with a glancing blow from the top near the actual clutch
area. Also .. a little gentle prodding with a wide blade will help.

This is even embarrassing to mention. I am having trouble getting
the right side case off. I know all of the bolts are out. The
Impeller hase been removed and I also took out the clutch arm. I
have been hitting it with a mallet and it will move slightly up and
down but it won't break the seal.
Is there some specific place to hit the case to get the seal to
break. What is holding the cas on. I am nervous about hitting the
case too hard but I am getting to the point that I almost want to
break it.
