Hi All,
Many thanks to all who replied, I think a bit of history of my TB
would have helped me in making a decision. When I bought the car it had a
telescopic conversion on the front and the original? Luvax round type on the
rear. When using it as my every day car in the seventies I found that the
front shocks were u/s. On recomendation from Alistair Naylor I replaced
these with a pair of Koni's. They worked a treat, rears left as was.
Come the Big rebuild as I had no front shocks and did not like the look of
the tele's I fitted a pair of Hartford friction dampers. Once set up work
well.>
One mystery remains Can the original rears be rebuilt and fitted to front?
Sorry its a bit long winded.
Regards.
