I went back to the site and told them I had a 2010 so I could see the rest of the questions. You know you just can't be too concerned about color when you rattle can forest green on all but the tank cause they were faded to near white with a green tint . Neither my 07 Super Enduro nor my 08 TE 610 have metal tanks. --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Desert Datsuns wrote: > > There used to be a regulation where all street bikes had to have a steel > tank. metal gas tanks
It is nice that on the KLR (& other steel tanks) I can just "slap on" the tank bag, and just grab the handle and go, when i head into a gas station, restaurant, etc.
Compared to straping and unstrapping on Non-Magnetic, and IF I leave the bag off, the straps are hanging on the bike.

Much rather the magnetic ones for travel.[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
