seat cover

The Walmart ATV "cover" is actually a foam pad that straps with fastex style buckles to the seat (no mods required.) It's quite secure and doesn't move around. That said, I shortened the straps and used really short, self-tapping sheet metal screws to attach the straps to the underside of the KLR's plastic seat pan. If I want to remove the pad, I unbuckle it. The straps stay in place so reinstallation is a breeze and I don't have to remove the seat to do so. I did go the way of removing the seat bolts completely and using wide Velcro epoxied to the frame/seat to secure it. You'd never know the bolts aren't there when riding. Need to remove the seat? Give it a good tug up and back. eddie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
