batteries and maintenance
I can't *not* be curious about the condition of a bike.
It amazes me how many riders (Non-KLR folks!) just gas and go. 'Tire
pressure? Why, I checked that just last month!"
I've worked on a sport bikes that, according to their owners, "handled
funny" only to discover > [Original Message]

Man o' man..... I thought J#3 had this wrapped upped sensibly
suggesting that AGM batteries were by far the best choice. Then Jeff#1
suggests the need for regular maintenance and how little work keeping up on
your battery is and that sounds very reasonable.I feel like I'm listening
to a couple of guys who both know more than me and just sitting there going
"Yup - that makes a lot a sense... yup."I think J#1 needs to start housing
motorcycles for a fee and doing regular upkeep. That's what I think.
