suddenly, no headlight!

I got the new handlebars on yesterday, all except I could not get the grip off the throttle. I just left it on for today. Huge improvement in the handling of the bike. The (stock) right grip seems to have melted onto the the throttle tube. Any tips on getting it to come off cleanly? -- Charlie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

The KLR grip is impossible to get off without just cutting it off and then spending numerous hours cleaning it up. Walt- Oh, FUSES! I like to think I'd have remembered to check those. That was it all right. I took the opportunity to switch those two to blade fuses, rather neatly stored under the starter relay/starter circuit relay/sidestand switch cover. Boooy, without all the help I get on this site I'd be spending way more time and money on all this than I already do. I try to reciprocate as best I can, not having the expertise that many of you do. Just so you know, I appreciate it. -JWF
