I do not know (YET) if it's because i added about4-5 lbs in tire tools in the front pvc pipe OR because I put on the Metzlers ($$$) that come stock on a F650gs (bmw) But even at 90 LOADED with camping gear, tools etc. on the back and that usualy made it shake worse. but all is smooth, No front end shakes at 65+. Trip update: In Cody Wyoming today, Yellow stone tomorrow. Was bummed that I lost power to the Gps (12volt) plug, about an hour before getting here 94pm) But the "ying/yang" good thing was it turned out my head/tail light fuse was blown,. The good thing, If i didn't see i lost power to the outlet I may not have noticed untill dark or I got a ticket. All good so far. Mark (west mi.) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

suddenly, no headlight!
Suddenly I've got no headlight on my '99, high or low. Also no tach light or speedo light, no highbeam indicator light. I have the aftermarket left-hand switch, and the highbeam trigger doesn't work either.
The taillight only works when I turn the key past Lock to P. I think that's a clue, but I don't know what it means.
The left gripwarmer works, the right one doesn't.
Brakelight works fine. Turn signals and indicator work, neutral light works.
Tomorrow I'll check the headlight bulb, gripwarmer connections, whatever I can think of. I'd appreciate any tips on where to look first. JWF

It is a blown 10A fuse under the seat above the battery. All you described
are on that circuit. The tail light gets its power through a different
circuit when in lock position as well as the brake and signal lights.

That has been a problem , at times, for many years. Kawasaki deemed it necessary to put only a 10 amp fuse for that circuit. If you linger in going from low to high, both circuits are happening for a bit which over loads the 10 amp fuse. The cure for that is to go to a 15 amp fuse. Been happening for as long as I can remember. Even my '92 had that problem with me.
