Hi Greg, Personally I wouldn't want to disable the fan and can't think of a reason why anyone would, I just couldn't remember the circuit well enough. I do know that it was a double throw switch and that's about all I remember. This circuit diagram is better but not the one I remember, which was just a scan of a pencil drawing on an envelope or something.
