stale crumbly ebay gaskets

Post by Ian Francisco » Mon May 09, 2011 2:16 pm

I bought a complete gasket set several months ago on eBay for my A14. Looks very similar to this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-KAWASAKI-KLR-650-KLR650-GASKET-KIT-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3366805790QQitemZ220763019152QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories but not from the same vendor. The same green color gasket material for most of the gaskets though. Went to use the clutch cover gasket and it broke into pieces before I could even get it loose from the package! Resembled stale Wrigley's chewing gum. Needless to say, don't waste your money on these. I ordered a gasket from PartShark.com instead. $13 for one gasket, and it it better be fresh when it shows up :/ -- ian http://www.scarletfuries.com http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Scarlet-Furies/121218125931 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
