I used some stuff called GOO BE GONE, found it in Home Depot. Now the decals on the tank will not come off unless you take the clear coat off. And it takes a little soaking and work to get the ASAKI off the seat, I have had people say KAW Is that a new brand of jap bike? I have an 01 klr650 (silver tank with brown/green stickers), green everything else. I personally am not a huge fan of the green, so I was considering painting the bike. I'd leave the tank silver like it is and paint everything else. Question is, so the tank stickers come off or are they under a clearcoat? I got the "650" stickers off with no issue, but the tank seems to be a lot more difficult. Thanks Andrew, minneapolis

They're under the clear coat, at least on my '01. I went over them with truck bed liner. Anything thinner, paint wise and you're going to have to sand them off. Good luck millerized --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "propagandrew" wrote:

Given the stock '95 paint scheme, it looks like Amazon has some here: http://www.amazon.com/BARBIE-Vinyl-Decal-Sticker-A1467/dp/B001INK8CS Josh . ________________________________ From: rob65200065 To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wed, April 6, 2011 12:57:28 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] decals anyone know where to get some for my 95 klr thanks [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

aluminum panniers for sale

Post by hgyrmliun » Wed Apr 06, 2011 9:23 am

I've got a Happy Trail "Teton" aluminum pannier kit I no longer need. The boxes are 7.5" wide, uncoated aluminum, pre-drilled for the mounting pucks and are a perfect fit on the included racks. The company says it works on all models from `87-`07. See www.happy-trail.com for more info. My kit was used for one month, the boxes have a few very minor scratches, and a band of yellow reflective tape on each side (removable). Lists for $637 plus shipping. I'll sell for $475 plus shipping, which should be about $40 in the US. Dave
