another happy fork spring story
Sylvain, Progressive's # 11-1506 is what I got for my 09'. The fitment list in the box says KLR65- 2008-2010, among several other brands and models. Their catalog says part # 11-1151 fits KLR650s from 1987-2007. eddie

It was shocked at how little preload the OEM springs had(none). I could've started the fork cap threads by hand with no tools. The OEM springs are a joke & the stock spacer tube is just a hair over ELEVEN inches long. That's how little the springs are. With new Progressive springs in place, I added 3.5 in. long spacers for a bit of preload and called it a day. Verdict? I could tell a difference in the 4 mile ride home. I'm quite happy! It's supposed to get up to 71F here tomorrow after snowing two weeks ago. I'm going riding!!! =) eddie
