ok i totally cant get my bike to start if its below 45 or 50 degrees after it starts it runs great I have cleaned the carb checked alot of stuff has anybody with a older klr had any problems with the kacr?I almost believe thats my problem after its running its fine but starting acts like no compression I did remove the spring on the kacr but it didnt seem to affect it one way or another starting fluid doesnt even have a effect on it but like I said after its running it runs like a champ no smoke plenty of power no signs of a worn engine and after its warm it continues to start right up wich if it was a valve to tight it seems like my problem starting would be the other way around. has anybody totally disconnected the kacr for any extended amount of time.

wont start cold
Starting fluid doesn't help? Ether, right? Doesn't help? Bizarre.
Must be electrical, but if it turns over, I give up.
The idea that there is a certain "cranking speed" necessary to get it to fire is ether:
1) hogwash or
2) related to the compression release
WITHOUT a compression release, one revolution will start an engine. If not, old Harleys would NEVER start.
