My own view is that D606 F and R is the way to go, although D606 front K270 works pretty well. The beef is with the wear and steering qualities of the K270 front. A CS858 front with a K270 rear is a popular and economical alternative.

The best set up I've found for off road worthiness while maintaining some semblance of road manners is the D606 up front and the Kenda K760 Trakmaster II on the rear. > > > > Mind you, I like to do some pretty hairy off road stuff including mud, sand, gravel, trees, rocks, etc. You may not need as much off-road traction as the above mentioned set up. Haha We used to find mouse nests in airboxes of brand new machines, sometimes they would be packed full of deer corn. Used to give away 100 lbs of deer feed corn with purchase of a 4 wheeler around hunting season. Had mice store acorns in the exaust of the ole tractor at camp once, that was kinda funny started the old girl up and after it warmed up a bit knocked the throttle forward and it was like roman candles going off, funny except we were in a 100 yr old barn full of dry things that would burn easy. Dooden A15 Green Ape Enjoy the ride..

That is almost certainly an Anole, Anolis carolinensis. When is the last time you were in the Southeast? He (she) probably crawled in there for some warmth and protection. So much for that! R.I.P. I was in Texas just before Thanksgiving... Probably picked it up there. So you're saying I'm cleared of all allegations regarding the Geico Gecko, right? da Vermonster
