My Son-in Law is in the service. My daughter, and their 15 month daughter (the reason the sun comes up every morning) live with us.
We have 2 monitors in the house so we can listen for her at nap time. Those monitors are very sensitive. You can hear her breathe.
He is returning to the states next month, and they will be moving to Kansas where he will be stationed.
They are only taking one monitor with them. I am going to put the other monitor in the garage. I am curious, as to what kinds of noises go on after dark.
P.S. I am not looking forward to my last daughter leaving and moving 8 hrs away, and taking her daughter with her. it will be hard.
But it will be their first chance to be a family in their own home since they got married.

I like the idea of a camera in the garage when no one is around.

Rick, The first time you go to Ft. Riley, KS (or are they going to Ft. Leavenworth?) be sure to trailer your bike out as well. You will have hours and hours of riding gravel roads out here/there. Then you can tell your wife (or yourself) that you need to go to KS to change the gas in the bike. and since there are grandchildren involved, I would guess it would need to be changed, at least, monthly. smile. Yes, they are going to Ft. Riley. I would love to follow them, but I also have 3 grandsons within 6 miles of home.
A 2nd KLR in KS. Well I can dream can't I.
I will have to try to get the KLR out there. Nothing better than unfamiliar gravel roads, and a KLR.
I will pass your "Thank You" on to my Son in law.
