Hate being the bearer of bad news, but a 60yr.old KLR rider was killed at a stoplight in ABQ. Here's the link to some video from the scene. The comments are interesting as some were from near witnesses. The driver of the van was said to be in the same age range as the rider.
Sorry but thought you might know who it might be.

lost another klr rider
Sad news, for sure. I hope that it wasn't someone close to anyone on the list.
However, the link didn't come through.......
I am not sure if this list strips links; if so, please forward that to me directly.
Not being morbidly curious; I hope it doesn't sound that way. I just like to know how to prepare for things and be prepared for the worst.

It said in the report that the rider was NOT wearing a helmet. I have no idea if his injuries were head related but I'll bet they were. I feel for his family. Wear your gear. I already owe my life to one helmet, I'll never ride without one. Chris R Sierra Vista AZ> > Hate being the bearer of bad news, but a 60yr.old KLR rider was killed at a stoplight in ABQ.
