Good info kyle.
As far as a company not answering their phone. I have run into this a time or two myself. I just figure they must not want my business. I work in Technical Support for a door closer manufacturer. Between Customer Service, and Technical Support, our average answer time is 25 seconds. Yes, seconds. We are here for our customers. I guess i figure if we can do it, then why can't others. If I call (or send an email ) somewhere, and I have trouble getting hold of someone, the chances of them getting my business are slim.

I too work in Technical support for a major computer doohickey maker. I work
internal only though, so good luck getting me to answer my phone!
Ahh...
the privledges of being a level 3 tech... (Actually, I'm usually out fixin
on something)
But I agree completely. If you dont answer my questions when I have money
in hand, piss off I'll go to your competitor. I've removed many a sales
person from the "prefered list" because it took three days to respond to
email.
Oh, and the KLR Related... Thanks for being the Guenna pig, Kyle! I'm in
need of a new fan soon. Duct tape and bailing wire only last so long...

Richard,
I have found another source for these fan blades. I should have them here this afternoon or tomorrow.
Contact me later and I'll let you know what I have.

The top-loading Givi E21s are not too heavy, and small enough to ensure that they should not be too heavy even when loaded. Big bags just encourage you to bring more crap than you need, right? I dunno about bulletproof but I originally had the impression that they were a bit flimsy, especially when a heavy biff on the White Rim Trail caused the low side bag to pop its lid open, and to deform to the point where I was pretty sure the bag had to be split. Imagine my surprise when the bag sprang back to its original shape, still functional and only slightly scuffed. Both bags have repeated this performance since, which say more about them than about my skill as a rider.> > I am wondering what is the best luggage for the '07 KLR650? > > I need something that will be bulletproof and yet doesn't weigh too much.
