klr650 backrest

in prepping for a ride next summer I needed new boots. I wanted loads of protection but need to be able to live in them for about three months. I wanted MX boot levels of protection. I saw an interesting pair of trials boots, they were really nice looking too, but they didnt have the armor that mx boots do. Then I stumbled on ATV boots. I had no idea they made them although it made sense when I thought about it. I settled on a pair of Thor Quadrant ATV boots. These are not for popping off to the grocery store for a gallon of milk but that is more do to the looks than the ability to walk and their comfort. They are actualy very comfortable after a few hours walking around. Since I didn't know what they would be like I wore them around the house for a few evenings since the wood floors and my wifes impeccably cleaning, would not tarnish them in case they never became comfortable. Hey Landsail, How about posting the direct link to your photo. Such as this example: Hi saw this funny ad in the photo albums: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DSN_KLR650/photos/album/1863447806/pic/list etc. For just a moments extra work on your end, and photo-poster places the direct link in their post so old people like me don't have to hunt for it--and not find it. One click and we are there. Your mod, by the way sounds wonderful--but painful to locate.... revmaaatin. who hopes all others will post direct links to their photos-- as the size of the photo album requires several minutes to locate anything--if you find it at all
