stepping up for the good stuff

Post by hershonm » Sat Aug 15, 2009 12:51 pm

I'm the original poster. I really do have an Arai, but I don't own any Dainese or Sidi stuff or Euro-approved armor. There's so much hype and image involved with all that high-end gear. Is a premium tire worth three times the price of a Kenda? Will the premium tire last 10% longer? Stick 10% better? Well...maybe. If you fall off, will it be the tire's fault? Who can answer any of these questions for sure? Price MIGHT be the opposite of quality. Or it might be a guarantee of quality. Who knows...?
