Listers, This add just hit the BMW marketplace. It's a killer deal and I only see these available used a few times each year. If you are interested you better jump immediately as I'm sure these won't be available for long. Contact the seller and not me as I don't know more about this than what's in the add. ~~~I have an Ortlieb waterproof duffel, bought in 99'-many touring miles, 3 or 4 different bikes anyway, never leak, still looks like new. roll top is the way to go for waterproofness. I'm looking for a set of these (front pannier) for bicycle use Jake Reddick Fla.

Are the throwovers, or the clip-ons?

Myra Canyon Section Closed Just returned from doing the complete Kettle Valley Railway, a trail in British Columbia, Canada, that traces an old rail line. Very mountainous terrain, lots of tunnels and long bridges. The best part, and what makes the trip worthwhile, is a section called Myra Canyon. When we got there a sign said "closed to unauthorized motorized vheicles." The only option is a bypass that is twice as long as the main route and the worst piece of trail I have ever been on--brutal. Not getting to the heart of the KVR was a let down as it has the best views, most and longest trestles, and cool tunnels. I had come a few thousand miles for this. Which is why at 6 am the next day we slid the bikes under the gate and did it anyway. Luckily no one was around. I've heard that the Mounties hand out huge fines. Hope this helps those planning the same trip. Bob
