sargeant seat

I love mine. I have had a number of different seats over the years. The best are the high dollar Mayer custom made seats (I've had one from each brother). The next best is the Sergeant. After that, the stock Harley seats, then the Corbin step seat for my Sportster, then last (for sure) the stock KLR seat. The sergeant seat is wider, feels softer on the surface but fairly firm under, and has a slight step up and a slightly wider spot right behind the sweet spot where I usually sit. When the butt gets tired, I can slide back a bit for a different feel. I've put in a couple of 12 hour days on and off road. I got one 3 months ago, about $100 off, used by not really, basically brand new. My OEM seat was ripped pretty good from a fall over in garage. I really like this seat, kind of hard compared to OEM, but really wide and supportive. I can position myself all over it, forward and backward. It is better than any Corbin I have ever seen, tried. They also offer 30 day money back Guaranty. IF Corbin tried that, they would go out of business (G). I am starting to like Sargent Seats, just got one for my R1200GSA. Always had Russell seats, which are by far the best, but didn't want their height and wings, on my GSA. The Sargent GSA seat is really fantastic, waterproof, and comforatable all day. This one on the KLR is working for all day rides too. I highly recommend.

would it hurt to use an aerosol engine degreaser to clean an o-ring chain then spray it with a water hose then applying a chain lube. someone wrote about using a degreaser and hurting the chain. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
