nklr tourmaster riding boots

Post by ckahleer » Mon Jan 05, 2009 2:16 pm

I'm considering a pair of Tourmaster Solution boots. I'm looking for decent street riding protection, and still comfortable enough to walk around in them when I reach my destination. Does anyone on the list have experience with this boot? Alternatives? Craig Kahler Fredericksburg, VA

I am the proud owner of a pair of Combat Touring Boots (lites) They are made by Sidi for Aerostich.. Just Google Comat touring boots..They are fantastic boots..They are tough and once broken in are very comfortable..Lites are a shorter version of the full Cobat touring Boots..The come in two choises of soles..I have the cleathed soles..I wear them all day long at work when I ride..On trips..I just bring them and no other shoes..They fit under my jeans..Maybe some flip flops if the weather is warm..Good luck my friend Rodney Enriquez Anahiem, CA

<><><><><><><> <><><><><><><> Craig, I don't know anything about the Tourmaster Boots but for street riding my suggestion is the Oxtar Matrix. Oxtar sold the product to another company and I think it is now the TCS Matrix 2. You should be able to find it at: www.newenough.com I've been using these since 2002 and they are very comfortable and waterproof. They are also easy on and off and do provide protection. I've probably walked 2-3 miles in them at one time with comfort. matrix boots

Listers, I got some feedback this morning from a lister that has recently purchased and returned the Matrix-2 boots after comparing them to a pair he's owned for 50K miles. After seeing his comparison I don't suggest you consider the Matrix-2. They are not the same quality Matrix boot as what I've owned and used for 5 years. Sorry about the misguided information.
