Just a quick heads up, I got the HF weekly circular in the mail last
night and there is a new version of a motorcycle bead breaker on sale
for $19.99. You can go to their website and search for item 98875-
2VGA. Could be handy for anyone that doesn't have room for the full
tire changer. Haven't used it, can't comment on how well it works.
Just an FYI.

bead breaker at harbor freight
This is cheaper than the one at harbor freight bead breaker and works when
you are not at home. Try breaking your beads before ou buy something. If you
need to buy something then go buy the HF tire changer. Drill the inserts
into your garage floor, Redhats I think they are called, and put some short
allen screws into them when not in use. The HF tire changer, with motorcycle
adapter, has a bead breaker and changer and comes with the big iron, that's
the best part. It makes it easy. The only other thing worth owning is a
balancer although several road side changes over the obsurd course of my
life have shown that real balancing is a matter of finding the heavy spot
then rotating the tire some until it is balanced better.,

stuck float valve
I had a v-twin Suzuki Marauder some years ago, and the float stuck in the closed position in the rear carb. It was a bit of a job to pull the carb, so I took a hammer and a large diameter punch, and tapped the float bowl a few times. That got it unstuck, and it never stuck again. I put 15,000 miles on it and the guy that bought it is at about 40,000, and its been fine.Certainly wouldn't hurt to run some Sea Foam through it too.The above may be the easiest thing to try.
Good luck, Jon in Puyallup, Wa. USA
