It wont work with the stock air filter because it would make getting
the air filter in or out much more difficult (working around the fixed
stud). But, I believe the aftermarket K&N gives you more room to work
since it has an end cap.

tools question - metric or standard ??
First, Happy Thanksgiving, now, my question is, "Are most of the nuts
and bolts on the KLR Metric or Standard?" I am seeing some pretty
good sales on tools after T-Day, so my question is, buy Metric?
