This is a recap of the "no vacuum" thread.
1. came back from a weeks vacation, started the bike, ran until the
float bowl emptied.
2. checked the fuel valve, works with vacuum assist.
3. bikes doesn't flood, will run on the fuel put directly in the jug.
4. pumped 20ml of Seafome in the carb and started to crank, didn't start.
5. tryed starting every 12 hours, 3 days later it starts.
6. Runs like crap, smokes, hard to start, just dies when running short
periods of time. Managed to put about 10km's on it to flush the
seafome (died on the hwy 4 times).
7. when running fuel is coming out of the clear tube overflow from the
top area of the carb.
Does this mean the float is stuck down?I think at this point I have to
take the carb off the bike, dismantle and clean. Is there parts to
replace since I have the carb off?

clutch cable broke
I had two break within six months. Then I realized the importance of proper maintenance of motorcycle controls. I also replaced the clutch cable & shroud with a Motion Pro part just for good measure.
Never had a problem after that.
And as has been said on here before, "Carry a spare."

Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Clutch Cable Broke
Strange, my cluch cable broke this evening. Any history of this with
other group members? Is this a symtom of a bigger problem?
Thanks
