trouble with choke, or choke cable, or choke handle....

Yes, thanks again team, much appreciated. I agree, when the rear is shot, I will replace all three - front, chain and rear. But at this point, 20 bucks for a front and flipping the rear may entice the chain to think it is running on brand new surfaces, (it is) and thus maximizes its life as well. (assuming a systematic approach to cleanin and lubing) but hey, we won't go there for now. Then when the rear is shot, and the chain stretched, I will gladly replace all three regardless of the appearance of the front (which it is likely it will look much like the one I have now) sorry if I have thought about this one too hard. hey - you want to hear about my synthetic oil change?? thanks for not boycotting my posts - could give me a complex or something, perhaps even drive me to purchase a harley, or worse yet, an Ipod. happy spring, ride hard, ride safe. todd in (thawing) Chaska MN

<><><><><><> <><><><><><> Paul, From your description it sounds like I'd be looking at the carb end of the cable. On my KLR the cable has a bit of play at the carb. I wonder if yours got jammed when you were working on it.
