For those troubled by a lot of junk mail, I asked at the Post Office
what the cost was to the people sending the stuff. It turns out that
when they get back those self addressed stamped envelopes, no matter
what is in them, it costs them 68 cents. This does not include the wages
for the person opening letters with other peoples ads in them.
I expect that the US Post is the same, and it would be worth checking.
