looking for klr specific patch design submissions!!

Post by tilster187 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 2:41 pm

Hello all: I am looking to get a KLR specific patch made up. Not a KLR650 group one, but just for the KLR itself. I have looked around online and not found anything to my liking besides the generic Kawa eagle patch, and am looking for something a little more exciting and cooler. I am looking for it to be about 4"x4", whatever shape. Essentially I want to be able to put it on a jacket sleeve, fanny pack, or luggage. If I get anything in, I will look more into prices and patch types. If by the grace of Thor anyone here knows or does patch making, please chime in, otherwise I have two manufactures in mind already. I will take submissions to my email or posted in the album on the group until the end of next week, August 4th. After that, I guess we can have a vote for top design and then go from there. Thank. Lou.

An idea for a design is a Japanese setting sun design, with the outline of the island of Japan superimposed, with Hiroshima and Nagasaki highlighted. Then the caption" Two bombs weren't enough" I used to have that helmet sticker years ago but I can't find one now. Regards,Gary --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "tilster187" wrote:

Lou, I do screenprinting, embroidery, and promotional products sales. I am in the midst of moving into new house and all the stuff that goes with it, but if I can help you let me know. 2008 parts on older bikes?

Post by Everett Sloan » Wed Jul 25, 2007 9:34 pm

Was at a dealership today and loved the improvements on the new KLR. I was wondering if the side and or rear fairings would work on older models, also if the left hand controls, with the harder to break choke lever would fit. The dealership was no help.
