Looking for some folks that have had good luck with this size of windshield, and recommendations on what brand to buy and from whom. Thanks, Shane-Tx

faring. I came to the conclusion that was not the way to go. The faring is too small; the shields bent a lot and both eventually broke - on trips far from home, of course. Buffeting was terrible. I eventually installed a Slipstreamer CF-30 along with the stock faring/shield setup. Works great - A quiet ride, no high speed handling problems and you can remove it in a couple of minutes. Bogdan

No luck here, the Kawi +4 still put the wind blast right on my helmet, and I'm 6'1. It might work for you depending on your height. I've had better luck with no windshield at all. You might want to check out the Clearview website for windshields. http://www.clearviewshields.com/ Rob D A15 A1 volsfan1986 wrote: Looking for some folks that have had good luck with this size of windshield, and recommendations on what brand to buy and from whom. cleared for takeoff!

Post by Eric L. Green » Fri Nov 05, 2004 12:47 am

So not only do I have a new IMS gas tank for my KLR, and my Clearview +11 came in too, but the orthopedic specialist who looked at my knee today said I should use it normally because the damage will heal naturally over the next few months and if I don't use it normally the damage won't heal normally, so I'm cleared to ride my KLR as long as I don't go offroad (where I'd have to stand on the pegs or plant a foot on the loose stuff and overstress the knee). I'm psyched! So this weekend I put the Green Mule back together, and take her out for a spin again! -E
