I had the Kawasaki saddle bags and tank bag with a Joe Rocket top bag, but got rid of that set-up in favor of Wolfman Alpha back pack and tank bag. Wolfman if much better quality and holds at least twice as much, enough for a week long trip. Save you money and get Wolfman! Gorm L. Don't have 'em myself, but I can tell you exactly where to go for some information. Go to the KLR650 website at: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/6164/klrpage.html Move down and click on "Anatomy of a KLR650 - Aftermarket Ideas" and then click on "Soft Luggage" There's an excellent review [one person's opinion anyway] of both Aerostitch Dry Bag Saddlebags, and the Kawasaki Soft Luggage System.

I think my R1150GS Adv is the best bike I've ever sat on, and I'm absolutely convinced that a skilled rider can do amazing things with it off-road, but there's just about no chance that a big GS could've done the NOAB hero sections.
