Despite the high winds, the ride to and from Moab was fantastic and the rally was a lot of fun. The wind was brutal. I was mighty happy to be riding a heavy KLR loaded down with gear and an uninitiated two-up buddy (who may not agree with my rosy assessment of the ride).
Here are a few of my pics from the weekend in Moab.
Thanks to Fred, Gino, Kurt and the many others who organized this fine event. It was my first time, but it won't be my last.

Hi Mark,

Why are there holes drilled thru your handguards?

An experiment in ventilation.
No matter, they are going to be replaced by more protective guards as soon as I can remember to give Fred a call.

Thanks for the photos, Mark.
They were a real treat for those of us who couldn't make it.
Who else is posting photos?

Mark thanks for the pictures. Is that Dash's camouflage KLR? Man,
that is one mean looking KLR! I give it a 9 out of 10 on the
intimidation scale. I hope the Marines took notes. :>
Looking for paint supplies,
John
