slime or not to slime?

The idea of Slime is good, but what do you guys do to protect against tire valve problems?  Keep changing the tube everytime you change a tire?
I've used Slime for years and PJ1 sealent before that and haven't had any valve problems even though I change tire pressure when I go on and off pavement.  I just make sure that the valve stem is slanted up and gravity seems to take care of getting the sealent out of the valve. Kurt Grife

So do I. I have my priorities right because I'm an egomaniac.

No. Why? I'm so excited that I have to throw one pair away every night. Re the goop, uncertain valve core performance, pressure gauge slop...Why, why, why? Show me proof that 80-20 riding (including high speed highway riding) with Slime is better. I carry talc. Lots of it. Pour some in my pants and in my tire casing. Fireball

Yup. http://www.users.qwest.net/~jnassif/ My old A5 didn't do too bad in the snow. However, it gets a bit much after about the first couple of hours or 100 miles with 18-wheelers bearing down on you. Maybe I'll try a nice clear parking lot some day......(:^) Joe Nassif Santa Fe, NM A13
