either. 2nd choice was a KLX 650, which I ended up with. 
 
 Funny, my first choice was the KLX but I didn't see any in my area in any
 price range. The KLR was much easier to find so I got one. The seat was an
 easier sell on the wife, though. 
 
 Hang in there Glen, there is a bike out there for you and you should be able
 to get a good deal (I got a 96 with less than 1500 miles for $3000.)
