Well, Awini, I solved the problem by fabricating a center console for my TC.
It is made of wood and slides over the tunnel between the two seats. It
rises about five or six inches above the tunnel and has a lift-off lid so
that I can store item inside (flashlight, sunglasses, maps, etc.) After
installing the console, I discovered that it facilitated my entry and exodus
from the car; To enter, I open the car door, place my left hand on top of the
console and lean on it whilst stepping into the car with my left foot, then I
sit down, remove my left hand from the console and use it (and my right hand)
to grasp my right leg just below the knee, pulling my right knee up under my
chin which allows my right foot to clear the front of the door frame. Easy
at that! Now, to get out of the car, just reverse the process. ;-)

Awini,

1. Open the door
2. Take place
3. Close the door
4. Have fun

But to be honest: It seems that most of the list members never leave
their T series Midget, so they maybe only have forgotten the easy method
to enter the car ... ;-)

I have had a pulled muscle some weeks ago - most convenient car was the
MGA, entered her with door closed...(this is the coolest way - how to do
THIS with an MG T series Midget?).
