Well, that was a thoughtful and helpful reply.
 Thank you.

You may want to remember to take your
 medication daily.

Well, no I can't. Unfortunately, the Northeast US is not a really
good place to drive a TC in winter. If you live in an area where you
can drive it every day that's great. I'm proud for you. We usually
only get to do about 3-4000 miles/year between April and October.

What this has to do with an obnoxious, asinine reply to a fellow listers
valid question is still unclear to me.

Sorry, but I've had a long week and yet more churlish behavior outside
 of work is tiring.

 No further reply is necessary.

Sounds like what you got from Moss is a choke control, not a slow-running
control. And a useless one at that, if it won't lock. The original
slow-running control knob doesn't pull out like a choke knob. Its shaft
is threaded so that turning it to the left pulls the cable to increase
 idle speed.

Have you tried any of the other T-Series parts specialists? From time to
time there have been correctly-made reproductions on the market.
